It’s been over a year but I still remember the smell.
The smell of the reef.
The smell of the linen with a hint of sand when the wind blows into your room.
The smell of sunshine, believe it or not.
This wedding was and is important to me because as I was flying into Hamilton Island, I realised I wasn’t nervous.
I was excited.
It was then I realised I was ready.
