It’s 2am in the morning and the cab won’t be arriving for another 2 hours.
I’m at that familiar place where I’m unsure if I should take a short yet disastrous nap now, or wait until I get on the plane later. And this is before the 3 hour stop over at Queensland airport.
It’s going to be a long flight to Japan.
Excitement aside, I’ll probably be missing the Melbourne caffeine.
And speaking of coffee, besides Vue De Monde I also covered a handful of tiny cafes for the current Melbourne Magazine.
One of my recent favourites is Little King Cafe near the corner of Flinders Lane and Swanston.
It’s a cosy little time capsule tucked behind that giant gate to the church.
