Delia and Rupert decided to have their wedding in a community garden.
In Coburg.
It stuck with me because it fit the personalities of the couple to a T.
They had a whole garden to themselves for portraits.
They hired an eight piece band.
I was surprised that a wedding can be personal yet communal at the same time.
Intimate, yet grand.
Because of that, it was one of the most memorable weddings I shot in 2012.
Yup, November 2012.
I was attempting an ‘overnight test’ with this wedding.
You know, leave it in the drawer and see if you still feel the same way later.
In this case it’s more like 15 months test.
Delia and Rupert are already proud parents of a healthy child.
And I’m glad to say, this Coburg wedding is still special to me.
