Sometimes I get sucked into thinking my photos aren’t good enough to win awards.
Or impress my peers.
Or break new grounds.
Sometimes I forget that all of those things don’t matter.
After I sent the online slideshow to Sonia and Shamim, I received an email from Sonia’s father.
“I am very delighted with your work. Thank you for capturing the day so well. You are very gifted.”
That is possibly the highest praise I will ever receive from a stranger’s father.
And it made my week.

Amazing series. You have a knack of capturing the perfect moments without it ever being staged. Those wedding ‘photographers’ armed with light boxes up on Spring street every weekend could learn a thing or two from your website. Congrats again.
