Sacha catered for Lucinda & Andrew’s reception during March.
After seeing their wedding photos he called me up and asked if I’d document the opening of his new catering business to put up on their website.
It’s not everyday you receive a call from a chef, so I quickly said yes. (He had me at ‘free food’ and ‘Lorne’.)

I remember eyeing the paella during the wedding and feeling disappointed that I didn’t get to try any.
Imagine my joy when I saw him brought out that giant flat pan during the day.

Sacha’s business partner, Jorge, did the Asador, Argentina’s national dish, which was basically marinated Angus beef barbecued on open fire until char-grilled.

Winery, local fresh produce, live band, good weather, kids running around.
I guess it was just another day in Lorne.
