Woke up, had babycino with Hana on the way to childcare.
Got home, shaved, packed, left home for the airport.
Landed, picked up the rental car, drove to Veg Bar to meet with H&F.
Chickpea mushroom pattie burger with fries for lunch.
Dropped luggage at H&F’s place at Blackman’s Bay, walked their dogs to a dog beach.
The road back was a steep uphill. Heavy-breathing cardio workout. So out of shape, my head hurts.
Went home and drank plenty of water. Gave H&F my book.
Checked out a small food market on the way to a pizza party. Tried to make a jam doughnut look good to win free doughnuts, failed.
Made new friends, wedding videographers. Photographers and videographers don’t talk about weddings; they play board games and discuss renovations.
Left at 10pm, bed by 11pm.
Woke up 8am, rain, drove to Anna and Dan’s place for a photo shoot with baby Angus.
Video chat with Hana while taking away sandwiches and coffee from Picnic Basket on the way home.
Left for Launceston 12pm.

Drove through an unusual stretch of road with far too many roadkills – the rocky road of death.
Arrived at Claire’s family farm 3pm.
Found out Hana threw up at home. Left a video message.

Met Abbey for the first time, found out she wanted me to shoot her wedding in 2017 but I was booked. Shattered.
Best staff meal of the year. Abbey made fun of me for not eating the pork crackle skin.
The first dance started late. Left 9pm.
Drove back in complete darkness. Little eyes staring back in the dark. Kangaroo babies and other creatures hopping towards the car. Sudden brakes. Horrified. Finally understood how the road of death came to be.

H&F left for work 9.45am, hugged them goodbye and received a bunch of kale from their garden.
Bought elderflower cordial from Hill Street Grocer for Chika. Also randomly bought a baguette.
Stopped by Pigeon Hole for breakfast. Same table four years ago with Chika. Food came out late.
Ate and left in a hurry, took some wrong turns, refuelled the car, arrived at the airport 30 minutes before the flight. Forgotten to take photos of car condition.
Dropped keys, jumped the queue for bag drop, plane delayed.
Took off 1.15pm.
Ate baguette with Hana 3.20pm.
