Rachel and Chris’ wedding was pushed back, from May to September, then December.
As a photographer, I was secretly happy because the weather was progressively better.
The last time I shot at Zonzo Estate, it was extremely wet.
Perhaps this time, I get to see a summer side of it, just before Christmas.
Alas, 2020 was not a year that ran ‘according to plan’.
I think the whole 6 hours I was there, we had 30 minutes of dry weather.
But oddly enough, whenever the couple stepped out, it stopped raining.
Once we found shelter it poured.
Neither I, Rachel or Chris was complaining.
It felt like such a long time ago that families and friends could gather.
To break bread.
Hug. Dance. We-fie.
The fact that we could celebrate a wedding in 2020, was more than enough.
